Once we confirm your date, we send a secure Revolut payment link for the full price, to pay within 24 hours by card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or Revolut Pay, with no card fee, and we email you an invoice.

You can cancel free up to 24 hours before pickup, with a full refund, and after that, or if you don't come, we keep 50% of the price.

Out of baggage reclaim. Your driver is waiting in the arrivals hall after customs, with your name on a sign.

On the road. We drive you to your hotel's main entrance, or for a rental in a narrow lane, to the nearest point where the car can stop.
If your flight is delayed or diverted
Strong wind at Madeira airport sometimes keeps a plane circling before it can land. On some days the flight lands at another airport instead.
We follow your flight, so after a delay or a diversion the pickup moves to your real arrival time at no cost. If you land somewhere else, the airline tells you how and when you'll reach Madeira. Send us the new flight number or arrival time, and we confirm the new pickup on WhatsApp.
If your bags don't arrive, reporting them at the lost-luggage desk takes time. Your driver waits up to 90 minutes from your landing at no charge, so you can do it without rushing.
Hotel to hotel, and anywhere on the island
A split stay needs a ride between hotels, for example four nights in Funchal and four in Calheta. We add that ride to your tour booking, at a fixed price per car. The price list shows the price from Funchal to each area, and the calculator there works out any other pair of places.
One stop of up to 10 minutes on a transfer is included, and each further stop of up to 15 minutes costs €10. A longer visit, such as an hour at the Garajau viewpoint or at Pico dos Barcelos above Funchal, makes it your own route, priced by the hour. That costs €40 an hour for 1 to 4 people, €45 for 5 or 6, with a minimum of 2 hours (3 in July and August).
The last day can work the same way. You check out in the morning and leave the bags in the car. You spend the day in the west or the east, and your driver drops you at the airport for your flight. Your own route is priced by the hour, as a half day or as a full day, whichever is cheaper for your plan. The rates are on the your own route page.

Questions before you land
How much is a taxi from Funchal airport?
On a weekday by day, a metered taxi from Madeira airport to Funchal centre costs about €32 on the 2026 tariff, plus €1.50 per suitcase. The meter table on the price list sets it against our price per car on the main routes from the airport, by day, at night and at weekends.
Is it worth booking a transfer?
Yes for Funchal, Calheta, São Vicente or Porto Moniz, if you book a tour with us, because the booked car costs less than the meter by day and at night. To Caniço, Santa Cruz, Machico or Santana, a taxi from the rank usually costs less for 1 to 4 people. A booking fixes the price before you fly, and your driver is waiting in arrivals when you land.
Is there a bus or shuttle from the airport?
Yes, the Aerobus runs from the airport to the Funchal hotel zone between 08:30 and 22:00. For 1 or 2 people with light bags staying near its stops, it costs less than any car. The airport to Funchal page compares its fare with the meter, Bolt and a booked car.
Can we use Uber or Bolt?
Yes, Bolt and Uber both run in Madeira, and you book them in their apps. Bolt's own estimate from the airport to Marina do Funchal is €20.80, and the app price can change from ride to ride. Bolt and Uber drivers in Madeira work under the TVDE rules, which don't allow sightseeing tours.

Do you meet late-night flights?
Yes, we meet late flights. Our pickup hours are 05:00–01:00, and we confirm landings outside them on request. Pickups between 21:00 and 07:00 cost 15% more on transfers and on your own route, while sunrise runs and hiking transfers cost the same at any hour.
What if we're 7 or more, or have a lot of luggage?
The car takes up to 6 passengers. Tell us what bags you're bringing and we confirm they fit before you book. Mention pushchairs, golf bags and bike boxes too, because each one takes space.
Can I book the return trip now?
You can book the return in the same request, and each way is priced on its own, with no return discount. We message you 2 days before a return pickup to reconfirm the time and place.
Can you drive us between the cruise port and the airport?
Yes, with a tour booking: a ride between the cruise terminal on the Pontinha pier and the airport costs €30 per car for 1 to 4 people, €40 for 5 or 6, in either direction. Island days from the ship are on the cruise port page.
Where can I check arrivals?
Madeira airport shows live arrivals on its own website, on the real-time arrivals page. Once we have your flight number, we follow it too, so you don't need to send us updates.
